Jobs ‘Very Happy’ With Intel – Infineon Deal
In an interview with Fox Business Network, Intel CEO Paul Otellini stated that Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, was ‘ very happy’ with the company’s acquiring of Infineon’s wireless chip unit.
The chip making unit has worked closely with Apple over the past couple of years; producing a number of components for every generation of the iPhone.
California based Intel brought the wireless chip unit for $1.4 billion in order to strengthen its hand in the internet connectivity market.
